We Can Be Whatever We Want – I’M A BLOGGER!
I never imagined that I would become a blogger. Although I do spend a hell of a lot of time talking (anyone that knows me can confirm this). Surprisingly, I am also very shy and reserved, hence blogging was my alterego’s idea (she will also be helping with some content as she has vast knowledge in different things).
I rang up a company, as I was wanting to market some of my business aspects – only to be astonished that people (obviously in the world we live in) get paid thousands to tweet/mention/love things that they may really think much off. This in my opinion is great!!! (that was sarcasm) as its hard enough to distinguish in reality; a true and a faux without the added frauds. I was actually given a quotation for £6 thousand to £35 thousand pounds for a blogger with 168k following on twitter to literally mention one of my products.
The opinion, I had of business and media was one of trust, when I was young and naive. I am only 33 and I am glad that I see the world through my own eyes (I cannot be convinced of anything unless I believe it to be true). I wish my friends, family and acquaintances could see what I have but then that’s not possible. We all tend to make a basis of opinion, depending on our own experiences and thoughts. Don’t get me wrong some businesses actually do provide ethical, honest, worthwhile services that have a positive effect on our lives.
I am sat here typing on my Sony (Vaio) laptop which I love dearly and may possibly, one day be vintage as they don’t do laptops anymore. Technology has facilitated many great things and made our lives easier but has also created lives reliant on a virtual cyber facia (dating, shopping, livelihoods can depend on it).
I hope that I haven’t rambled on too much and had better get to bed. Thanks for taking the time to read this and wish you all the best!
